No$ZOOMER utility does not have a menu bar. To enable this, you need to locate a Lang folder among your No$GBA files that contain at least one .dll file. If nothing exists, you can look from another folder or other linked archive. You need to make use of the English.dll or Squall Leonhart.dll. Once you find this, you can create a Lang folder in your No$GBA folder where you can copy/paste the .dll file that you found.
B. No$GBA Emulator No$Zoomer Extras
When it comes to zooming properties, it is best to use No$Zoomer over other zooming programs. This specific property of this utility makes it stand out among the other similar applications. It is only the 18.104.22.168 version that has this property. The 22.214.171.124 version has some of its features but to some extent it causes errors in the game.
To make full use of the utility, you need to set some of its properties. If you encounter some errors (i.e., sudden freezing of the game) along your game, you need to set the emulation process. All you need to do is go to the ‘Others’ menu. Once opened, you need to open up the so-called Extra tab. In here, you will be able to see the emulation set-ups numbered from EX0-EX5. You just have to activate these options one from the other to alter the emulation processes and make your game more playable and enjoyable.
Just as a note, the use of inappropriate EXs will just make way to new errors. The best way to get rid of this is through activating all the EXs and deactivating those that do not actually help later. Better yet, check out some threads that discuss about this. You can find some guidelines from there. Lastly, EX5 may be able to make some games faster and better but it will also make it lock up. When this happens, it is advisable to restart the system and deactivate the EX to avoid further errors and for the older ones from recurring.
C. No$GBA Emulator Screen Size No$Zoomer
As its name goes, No$Zoomer has good zooming features that makes it great over the other zooming programs.
There are lots of things that you can do to adjust the screen to meet your needs and standards. If you want the largest screen, you can customize it under the View menu by selecting the Maximized Window category. If you want to adjust the size of the screen based on your preference, you can do so under the same menu while selecting the Size category. In this tab you will be able to set the size of the screen as much as you please. As for the difference in size of the two screens, you can adjust under the same menu but this time with the Screen Ratio category.
When it comes to the separator of the two screens, you can also adjust its set-up by going to the Options menu and selecting the Separator category. On the other hand, if you select the Full Screen category under the Menu option, this would hide the menu bar. To return this without exiting the Full Screen mode, just right-click on the screen and the menu bar will reappear.
D.No$GBA Screen Rotation No$Zoomer
As for some original DS games, there are instances that you would be required to shift your unit sideways to perform certain actions. To be able to perform this action through the emulator, you just have to go to the Rotate Tab option under the View category. The choices under this tab are based on a 90-degree angle. If you need to rotate your screen on a counter-clockwise direction, you just have to set your Rotate Tab on 270-degrees. To reset the screen, you just have to input 0-degrees.
E. No$GBA Emulator Noise Suppression
There are some 3D rendered games (even few 2D games) that produces disturbing background noise. To eliminate this static noise, there is an option from No$Zoomer that can make this possible. You just have to go to the ‘Others’ menu and select the Noise Suppression option. You just have to remember that this feature is not a mere on/off option. Rather, every use of this feature will be cumulative and will affect the performance and ability of the emulator in the long run. You need to consider this aspect since if you continue to use it, the quality of your sound may degrade after some quite period of time.
F. No$GBA Emulator Savegame Dumping
Saving your game is only possible with No$GBA when you are about to close your game or when you will be loading another game. So when your emulation suddenly crashes, the chance of recovering your game after you reboot your system will be impossible.
Though No$Zoomers (even the No$GBA program itself) has no feature to autosave your savestates or snapshots, there is still an option wherein saving your savestate is possible. You just have to go to the File option and select the Save Battery option. By this, you would be able to recover your files even if your system crashes. Still, Squall is already thinking of improvements regarding this matter for the next version.
G. No$GBA No$Zoomer Microphone Setting
One of the most common errors that gamers encounter with the No$GBA is the Microphone Wave-in Error. Though No$Zoomer would not be able to fix this problem, it is still possible for this utility to minimize the occurrence of the error.
All that you have to do if you are experiencing this problem is to go to the Options section and select the Enable Mic option. Remember that when there is a check beside this option, it signifies that the Mic option is disabled. However, if there are some games that require the microphone to be functioning, you just have to follow the same step. Just turn it off right away if it is not needed anymore.
H. No$GBA Emulator No$Zoomer Hotkeys
This is a vital component in most of the categories mentioned above especially the Screen Size feature. To set this feature, you just have to go to the Others option and select the Hotkeys menu.
