Even if you have NO cash you can play Nintendo DS and Gameboy Advance games. What you need is a PC, some NDS roms or GBA roms and No$gba emulator program. NoGBA will let your PC 'pretend' to be a game console and so you can play DS games with NO ca$h. www.no$gba.com. Emulator could be called NoNDS or No$DS, but as it was started as a Gameboy Advance roms emulator and only later acquired ability to play DS games it continues to be called No$GBA and not No$NDS or anything else like that.

Firmwares are not required anymore since No$GBA has more sufficient emulation to be able to work alone. As for the BIOS files, the only legal way that you can attain such is to take it from your DS. It is copyrighted to Nintendo so it would be difficult to find some distributer.

Nowadays, these things (backup NDS bios files) are not really needed anymore. No$GBA already has sufficient emulation properties that it can already work on its own.
Search and download files named GBABIOS.ROM DSBIOS7.ROM DSBIOS9.ROM and FIRMWARE.BIN, put those file inside no$gba folder. To star No$gba emulation using those bios and firmware files, go to setting
- change “Reset/Startup entry point” option to “GBA Bios”.
